THE CHRISTMAS STORY
Carol J. Haile is a juried calligrapher with the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen. She traces her family lineage to the Schwenkfelder District of Montgomery County, a region well known for the exquisite Pennsylvania German frakturs created in that area during the 1800's. Largely a self-taught artist, Carol credits her love of craft to her Pennsylvania "Dutch" grandmother who instilled within her a sense of curiosity, practicality and most importantly, beauty.
